Christmas Market season is here! Sure signs of approaching Christmas are the several Christmas markets organised in the city.
Manta’s Market 23.11.-8.1.2020
Manta Christmas market will be held at Havis Amanda square, next to the Market Square. There are dozens of stalls from which you can buy food and beverages both hot and cold, Finnish bakery products, packed delicacies and crafts for yourself or to give to your loved ones. Santa Claus will also be visiting the market. Enjoy the warm Christmas atmosphere in a beautiful environment at the heart of Helsinki!
Manta Christmas market will be open 10–18 every day except on Christmas Day, the 25 December.

The Christmas Market at the Hvitträsk art museum is full of Christmas decorations, gifts and crafts in a unique setting. The museum is open on market days.

Christmas Sales at Suomenlinna Sea Fortress 1.-2.12.
Christmas sales event at ceramic studio Pot Viapori offers visitors the opportunity to explore studio’s art work and premises. Pot Viapori was founded in 1972 and it’s located in an old cannon hall bastion Palmstierna. Pot Viapori plays an important role in Finnish ceramic art and it’s an integral part of Suomenlinna fortress cultural and artistic activities.

Mimmit & Mummot Christmas Market, 5.-8.12.
This lovely Christmas market celebrates Finnish artisans and the culture of craftsmanship. The event brings together especially women of all ages. Admission fee 6€, 10 % of the ticket income will be donated to organisations that empower women in Finland and abroad.

Helsinki Christmas Market 6.–22.12.
Helsinki Christmas Market is located in the Senate Square and is the oldest and largest event of its kind in Helsinki. At the market, over 100 vendors sell quality crafts, Christmas ornaments, Finnish design products, and hand-made candles – just to mention a few!
All sorts of smells and tastes of Christmas are in the air as the vendors, restaurants and street food chains offer sweet and savoury delicacies, plus modern and traditional Finnish seasonal food.
The heart of the market beats to a hugely popular, old-fashioned merry-go-round offering free rides.

Ornamo Design Market 7.-9.12.
Ornamo’s annual Design Christmas will again take place at Helsinki’s Cable Factory. The three-day market is a unique event to meet Finnish designers, explore the latest design trends and purchase Finnish design, textile, glass and ceramic art, fashion and other lifestyle products.

You’ll find one of the newest traditional Christmas markets at the Abattoir area. Two days full of vendors selling crafts, design products, home goods, jewellery, and all sorts of gifts. Furthermore, dozens of food stalls with delicacies of many kinds.
