A few steps from the Market Square, right next to Uspenski Cathedral, lies the picturesque Kanavaranta with atmospheric and cozy restaurants. What could be a better place to dine, wine and enjoy in the summertime than down by the sea? Kanavaranta is easy to reach by foot, by bike or by boat. Also tram no. 4 runs right by. Kanavaranta restaurants in Helsinki are something you should visit!

Le Petit Chaperon Rouge

Le Petit Chaperon Rouge is an atmospheric wine bar and bistro. In their kitchen, French meets Italian cuisine with a tiny Finnish twist. Their wines come from small European winemakers and the selection consists of the all-time classics and some creative curiosities. In the summertime Le Petit Chaperon Rouge also has a little terrace with a sea view. So, you’re welcome to enjoy and also to meet their very own wine dog Hilkka whose face you can find in Chaperon Rouge’s logo.
