Fazer is the leading confectionery company in Finland with almost over 130 years of history. A young 25-years-old bold entrepreneur Karl Fazer opened a French-Russian café in Helsinki at Kluuvikatu 3 already in 1891. It can be said that it marked beginning of Finnish confectionery industry, and the rest is history.
Nowadays the brand is well-known worldwide, and their products have become classics both in Finland and also abroad. Chocolates, sweets, candies, bread and bakery products are just some of the Fazer products that people really love. Their flagship product is the famous Karl Fazer Milk Chocolate. It’s also known as the Fazer Blue, and it has been the number one choice of chocolate-lovers for decades.
Explore Fazer Experience Visitor Centre
At the Visitor Centre you can really experience Fazer, actually with all of your five senses! Take a guided tour to the world of sweets and taste some treats. You will also learn about Fazer’s history, factories, people and new innovations. You can enjoy a lunch at the café and shop for your favourite products before heading home. And of course, special measures have been taken to promote the health and safety of visitors.
This year the Visitor Centre has new attractions both outdoors and indoors. You can play a garden quiz game and take selfies at a special selfie-spot in the lobby. In the beginning of July, a new greenroom opened its doors in the Fazer Experience garden.
HOW TO GET THERE
From Helsinki city centre it takes roughly 40 minutes to the Fazer Experience Visitor Centre by public transportation. You can also go by car as there are a lot of free parking space next to the building.
By train and bus: Take a train to Tikkurila Railway Station and a connecting bus no. 562 to Fazer Experience Visitor Centre.
By metro and bus: Metro to Mellunmäki Metro Station and a connecting bus no. 572K or no. 587 to Fazer Experience Visitor Centre.
