Kalle, what are your favourite places in Helsinki?
Although I don’t currently live in Finland, I visit Helsinki all the time. I have an office in Lauttasaari district. Lauttasaari is also called “the island of happy people”. I couldn’t agree more. The atmosphere in this “island” is one of a kind, very laid-back, especially in the harbor area. When ever I’m in Lauttasaari, I lunch at restaurant Blue Peter.

Archipelago of Helsinki
Probably the best thing in Helsinki is the archipelago, especially in summertime. All those restaurants and cafés in islands. .. Fantastic!
I’m going next…
Next place where I’m going to dine is Chef Tomi Björk’s new restaurant Bronda. Been there a couple of times taking some drinks in the bar and it seemed to be a really laid-back place. That’s where I’m going next!

Where are you going if you want to have fun?
Sometimes I like to show up a little bit and then I go to Restaurant Teatteri. Though fancy restaurants aren’t actually my taste. When I go out, I usually find myself in Molly Malone’s. There are great live bands every night. Every time I visit Helsinki, there seems to be so many new cool places, pubs and restaurants I don’t even know of. Last time I found this really cool place, Aussie Bar, in Kamppi.
