1.-7.8.

Allas Sea Pool is open!

An outdoor sea pool Allas combines spa tradition and urban culture. It consists of three saunas, rooftop garden, lounge, terrace, and swimming pools. There will also be cultural events and activities from music, movies and circus to theatre and festivals. Children’s Festival 6.8.

Jazzjatkot 7.8.

Flow Festival 12.-14.8.

Extremely popular Flow Festival brings music from old school legends to topical newcomers. Festival also offers exceptional art experiences and delicious cuisine. The festival is held in a disused power station built only a short walk away from the centre of Helsinki. The light design and decorations of the area take your breath away! Viapori Tuoppi Regatta: Sailing Competition At Suomenlinna 13.8. 

The biggest wooden boat event in Europe will be organised in the waters around Suomenlinna Sea Fortress. After the race, you can go to the traditional Finnish sauna, have good food and have fun at the party tent. Don’t forget the evening party! Exhibition: Cover Art – Eläköön vinyyli

Helsinki Flea Markets

Outdoor flea markets are a popular way to spend a summer day in Helsinki! The biggest flea market in town is Hietsun kirppis, organized outside the Hietalahti Market Hall. Hietsu flea market is open every day, but most of the sellers and buyers arrive there on weekends. Visit also Hakaniemi flea market, at Hakaniemi Market Square.

Etno-Espa 8.-18.8. +25.8. 

Etno-Espa is an annual festival for contemporary folk music. The festival takes place on Espa outdoor stage. On 25.8. Etno-Espa has a special event at Allas Sea Pool.

Delicacies of Finland & Syystober Beer Festival 18.-20.8.

Delicacies of Finland introduces the world of Finnish flavours. It brings Finnish local and organic food from small manufacturers and provincial producers. Helsinki Festival is the largest art festival in Finland, organised annually in August. The festival’s aim is to make art accessible for all. 22.- 31.8.

Huvila Tent 19.8.-4.9. 

Huvila Tent is probably the most atmospheric music venue in the city. The tent is a unique cross between a concert hall and a traditional festival marquee. Viapori Jazz 23.-27.8.

Night Of The Arts 25.8.  

Every year in August, the streets of Helsinki are filled with different kinds of performances, music, and art experiences. The night offers free concerts, workshops, open-door events and performances.
